Bailee's Birthday Card

I just wanted to share the birthday card that I made for my niece Bailee for her 3rd birthday a few weeks ago.
I have used all stampin up product except for the picture of the pony which was a digital image and the number sticker.

I am feeling creative so I might have a fresh post for you later today!
Have a great day!

Valentine Card

I had a Stampin Up party to do last week and I made it a valentine theme. We did a 6x6 scrapbook page and a card.
I haven't taken a photo of the scrapbook page (and I have left it at my mother in laws house) but here is a pic of the card we made at the party. After I took this photo I covered the easter eggs in the basket with a bow of string.

Hope you like.
I will post the 6x6 page soon!

ColourQ and Mojo Monday Challenges

Hi there,
I just thought I would share my entry for the colourQ challenge
and the mojo monday challenge.

so here is what I came up with. I had the tiniest piece of kiwi kiss and only had melon mambo ink but I loved this colour combo so much that I just had to make it work! I also dont have a oval punch or die so had to go with square!
I dont think it turned out too badly...what do you think??

Until next time!!

just checking in!!

Hey there, its been a couple of days since I have posted anything so I just thought I would share a few things I have been doing.

I was very excited to receive my Stampin Up order on tuesday with my big shot machine, the beautiful wings embosslit, medallion stamp as well as some other goodies! As you will tell I absolutly love my little butterflies!

Here are some cards using some of my new stuff!

for this one I have used the medallion stamp to create a sun. I clear embossed this so that I could sponge the sky without disturbing the colours of the sun. I then used the beautiful wings embosslits die to make the butterflies.

for this card I have used the polka dots embossing folder and the beautiful wings embosslits die. The stamp is from the easter blossoms stamp set in the summer mini catalogue. I had a heap of tangerine tango card that I haven't been brave enough to use, but I think this turned out quite nicely.

I have also kept myself busy making some cute birthday invites for my niece who turns 3 next week! I will take some photos and post this afternoon.

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 99

Just a quick one.
Here is what I have come up with for the Sweet Sunday Sketch.

It isn't how it was intended to turn out but I didn't have time to fix it because I have 2 games of netball tonight and better go get myself and the kids organised!

Paper Rose Tutorial

Here is how I made the rose on my Peach Parfait Flower Card

1. Start with a scrap of paper (approx 4x4inches) and starting from the outside cut a spiral into the middle.
2. Next, starting from the centre tightly roll the paper over and over until you reach the end (loosen a little towards the end.)
3. Use a little snail adhesive to secure the end.
4.  This is how your flower will now look
5. Turn your flower over and liberally apply some PVA glue to secure the rose "petals" in place
6. Once glue is dry, distress the outer layers of your rose until you are happy with the finished product.

Inkspirations Color Challenge #52

Ok, sooo being new to this whole blog challenge thing (this is my 2nd), I was sitting at my desk sipping on my glass of wine thinking..."what on earth am I going to do with these colors??" I had run out of Peach Parfait card, because it would have to be my fav color at the moment! so I knew that the Peach Parfait element of my card was going to have to be stamped. I pulled out my fav stamp set at the moment, "Elements of Style" and a piece of whisper white card and stamped and colored away!! The rest of the card just fell into place from there!

I hope you like!
